Don't forget some n00bness here, I thought like this before i figured
it out network=my wifi access piont/router test= testing of said ap's
capacity.

So I believed my 54mB AP could only stream 3000kps as this was what my
SB3 showed me.
Then finally I managed to get the test going on both my SB3 and
receiver at the same time, then I understood what it really measured.

Testing multiple players in parallel is useful in a multiplayer system
with only one AP, if you are unsure of you can stream to 5 player at
the same time for example.

Now I know what it measures but it easy when you don't know soo much.
To read the word "network" and "test" to literately.

I have lesarned more computing on this forum than anywhere else.
I did not need to know anything about wifi before i got a squeezebox I
got my first router 2006 (before that i had adls modem 1 pc 1 port i
did not really knew how it worked) I learned linux to run my own
server, I built my own server.
So before my first squeezebox I was pretty clueless regarding
networking.
