Last night, I installed and used the Touch for 3-4 hours with no problems; the install went absolutely smoothly. Nice.
I just started things up and was having the same problem as you; the first 45 seconds play, then the song starts over. Ack. I restarted SBS on my music server which did not help the problem. I then rebooted the music server and all seems okay now, for the last 10 minutes at least. So you might try to reboot the Touch using the button on the back.
