I've had a BestSkinsEver on my iPhone for a year (2G) and 6+ months on my 3GS, without issue (glue, yellowing, etc).
With a scissor and a straightedge, I just took an envelope-sized sheet and put it on my touch - looks great. I'll take a photo soon.
