Probably the best NAS to use with a squeezebox system is the VortexBox
appliance. You get a afast atom processor, plenty of memory, a 1 or 2
terrabyte drive and an optical drive for dowin rips. It comes out of
the box with SqueezeboxServer preloaded and will automatically rip CDs
for you. (stick the CD in, it gets ripped). Its about as simple as it
gets.

It has no display or keyboard, its designed to be administered remotely
over your network. You can stick it in a corner out of the way, in the
basement, in the garage, the storage closet etc.

It can also be a general purpose NAS serving files to any computer on
your network. It great for storing large collections you want to store
on every computer such as music, videos, photos etc.

This is a full blown server with all the capabilities of SBS, not a
stripped down version such as what is in the Touch.
