I can tell you what doesn't work. I've got 46,000+ songs (mostly FLAC
but with some MP3 and M4A) and one cover.jpg per folder (max 500 X 500)
and the internal server hasn't yet been able to complete a scan.

I have to qualify that I haven't tried again for 2 or 3 weeks and I'm
now on the beta of 7.5.1 and a couple of firmware updates later. Things
may be better now (or not) but I just haven't had time to futz with it
again. I may try this weekend, but the "unofficial documentation"
(i.e., the buzz on this forum) says the Touch can't be used for
anything else during the very slow scan process so I'll need to be sure
I don't want to listen to any music during the time period the Touch
will be scanning.

Even if Logitech can't give a precise size at which large USB drives
become dicey with Tiny SBS, they could at least include some generic
wording that the internal server is not suitable for all situations.
