I think it is a very legitmate question for a buyer to have some idea if this device is going to work for him. There are a number of people who, for various reasons, would love to have a Touch directly play their music from a USB drive without the need for an external server. Nothing on the web site gives these people any indication that results may be iffy or require a special, ritualistic setup procedure to have any chance of succeeding. My two cents is that if Logitech is going to continue marketing the Touch as capable of playing directly from USB devices, they've got a long way to go in making it a consumer friendly device. In the meantime, it is only common decency that potential buyers get some indication of the current limitations. Given Logitech's history in the area of honest marketing, I'm not too optimistic they'll change anything. -- mlsstl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mlsstl's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9598 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79212 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
