The applet can be installed, but not the helper that you can use to create your own style screen saver no :(
The best you can do is toggle trough the now playing screens with the ir remote until you find the one without a cover image, thats as big as it get's i'm afraid. You have noted that the interface change while using the ir remote instead of Touching it ? And that you can change it so that the biggest skin is always in use regardless via the setting sugested by bpa ?
