That's correct, because you can't run plugins if you're using the SB Touch's built-in server (TinySBS). You can't run plugins on mysqueezebox.com either. You can only run plugins on a computer or NAS running SBS.
However, you can run applets on the SB Touch, so that's what you should be looking for. It's been a while since I've installed any new applets, but look in the Touch's menu under Settings > Advanced.
