At this point I would try a factory reset. Make sure to keep track of what applets you have installed, they get deleted by the reset. Plugins on an external server are not affected by this procedure.
Factory reset can be done in two ways: under settings->advanced or by holding down the little button on the back (just above the power jack). Hold it down for around 15 seconds to start a factory reset.
