You can ssh into the Touch and try this:

ssh [email protected] -L 9000:remote.server.com:9000 -L
3483:remote.server.com:3483 -g
--------------------
Then select localhost (127.0.0.1) as the music source.
I've tried this using my local server (192.168.etc) as the "remote"
server and I was able to connect to the tunneled server.
