You should have no problem with running SbS on a computer and having your data stored on the NAS. As long as your computer can talk to the NAS to see the file locations, SbS doesn't really care and will use those files just as easy as if they were on an attached USB drive, etc. I'm assuming that both the NAS and the computer are connected to your local network via eithernet.
