No he did not have the fix. I don't think Logitech has put that in any firmware yet. An async interface works with the existing firmware, it just doesn't quite do what it should. I'm not exactly sure on the details of whats not quite right. The result is that something like the QB-9 still works well with the existing firmware, but probably not quite as well as it should.
