Last night we had a brief power dip which caused the lights to dim for
half a second but also knocked out my main media server, my new 7.6
test box and our mail hub. They rebooted OK, but my Touch dropped off
the network. It's plugged into a little hub alongside my Chumby (which
is fine) and the link LED on the hub was flashing on and off. I tried a
different port on the hub, tried plugging the Chumby's cable into the
Touch, and power-cycling: still the same. So, I went wireless on the
Touch, and a dmesg gives me a constant stream of messages about "eth0:
link up, 100Mbs full-duplex, auto-negotiation OK" swiftly followed by
"eth0: link down". The SbS box logged a dozen or so whinges: "arplookup
169.254.150.194 failed: host is not on local network" (took me a while
to figure out what that IP addy is!).

I'll try the factory reset when I get home, but it looks to me as if
I've now got a broken PHY and need to return my second Touch to
Logitech. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
