I think it might be black for a while, like a second or two, while it
retrieves the Lyrics. Have you tried it for several songs ?
Could you check if you get any errors in the server.log file ? You will
find it in SBS Settings/Advanced/Logging

It's not possible at the moment but I've thought about it. The problem
is that as a screen saver you really want it to scroll with the music
so it doesn't just show the lyrics for the first part of the song. If I
remember correctly I think the problem was that the lyrics data didn't
contain any information about which parts of the lyrics that belongs to
a certain part of the song, so I don't know how to much to scroll it
when the song has played 30%.
I suppose an option could be to just scroll it up and down
continuously.
Screen savers are deactivated when you touch the screen or a remote
button, so I think some kind of automatic scrolling would be needed to
make it usable.
