Search the forums and you'll see it can be done by mounting the NAS via NFS. That said, it's not clear to me that performance is satisfactory, unless maybe you configure things to store the SQL database locally on a USB stick or SD card attached to the Touch. In other words, it can be done, but it's certainly not plug-n-play, and quite possibly too slow to be useful.
