Dear Touch , I am using a VTL Reference DAC which has been used in studios... This is a truly magnificent DAC, however VTL has taken out everything which might influence the signal... so they took out the muting circuit.
This would mean that when the signal is lost I would hear a very loud clicking noise ! Probably a lot of users would not like this! Optional might be the best option therefore. Remark: when I change stations the signal is also lost for a split second, so a very loud click is heard! My question is therefore: When the signal is always on how can it be that the signal is lost for a split second when changing stations ?
