I am also having the same problem, rating doesn't work on the Touch when holding down the number botton.
My guess is the Touch is handling the keypress, you see the image wobbles a bit and a beep to indicate the key press has been received, but rejected. It probably didn't pass the keypress to the Server which would trigger TrackStat.
