Before I offer my opinion:
- Goodsounds sums up the benefits of the Boom very well
- I've never heard the A2's
- I love my Boom
- Like you, most of my SB usage is Internet Radio and Music Services
- With very few exceptions I do not stream sources offering below
128k
- Did I mention I love my Boom?

I use my Touch with A5's for entertaining on our deck and for use as a
mobile audio system, most recently utilized for our neighborhood block
party. The audio difference is night & day compared to the Boom. Even
indoors the A5's far outshine the Boom, particularly at higher volumes.

Knowing the quality of AudioEngine's and having far better stereo
separation with separate speakers I'd bet Touch + A2's would be
noticeably superior in over all audio quality, even using Internet
Radio and Music Services.

Beyond the audio difference, a couple more Touch benefits over the
Boom:
- easier menu navigation, displays four items per menu (Boom offers
only one item), particularly helpful if you jump around to several
different services
- touch-screen keyboard is a GODSEND for text entry searches
- album art (if offered and if you care)

But you also must keep in mind that you are comparing two very
different systems at very different price points with the Boom being
very mobile and much less expensive.

I'd surely give the Touch + A2 setup a try, compare for yourself. At
least that's my extremely biased opinion. :)
