The name you use is DAC. The rest of it is just more information about
the device. If that still doesn't work, post the entire file that you
have created and I can look at it and see if it looks good.

Just remember that it crucial to always have the DAC plugged in when
you reboot. The name will be different if you hotplug. My original
instructions said you could either have the DAC plugged in at reboot or
hotplug, but it turns out some DACs will hotplug properly, so just
always have the DAC plugged in when booting the Touch. 

Its also a good idea to check that the file actually made it through
the reboot. After creating the file and rebooting, login,then type: 
cd /etc 
cat asound.conf

Make sure its the same file you typed in. If you didn't do the "sync"
after creating the file you can end up with an empty file in which case
you won't get any sound out of anything.
