How are you saving the playlists in foobar2000? SBS reads standard .m3u
files, so that is what you should be using to write them in foobar2k. I
have an old version of foobar2k, and it has options of .m3u, m3u8, and
.fpl.

Re how I make playlists, only occasionally do I do it within SBS, and
then usually with the SB Controller or maybe the web ui rather than on
the Touch itself. If you are using the Touch's built-in SB server then
web ui isn't an option for you.

I find the absolute best way to make playlists is to do it the
automated way using MusicIP, followed by some manual editing. MusicIP
is a bit of an orphaned product right now, but it still works great.
Using it integrated with SBS is great, but if you are using the
built-in server then you can't do that, and will have to use the
MusicIP gui version to make playlists outside of SBS, and then import
them. Again, use .m3u format.
