Thanks for the answer. Yes I have seen that when I browse by _album_ on the Touch that they are sorted by artist, then year, then album name.
That was acctually one of the reasons why I thought it would only be a setting that I had been missing. It would be so much easier to have a nicer view when selecting the Artist and Album to play. Currently I have ripped 1.600 CD's. The Touch have made me listen to music that I didn't know I had. But I am not very keen on tagging all my album/files with an _ALBUMSORT_ tag.
