All my FLAC are compressed at -9 (the max), but they are only CD quality (44.1/16). It's probably not the only culprit, but with such a large number of tracks you need all the performance you can get. Other stuff to consider are the file hierarchy and artwork size (see my earlier post). You may even want to consider no-artwork. Good luck...
