Hi there I was referred here by someone on the logitech boards and was wondering if you could help me.
I am running a Squeezebox system (Touch, Radio, Boom) in my flat. The server is a USB hard-drive att to the Touch. It has maybe 30gb of music on it. Trouble is, it keeps failing. I am frequently - several times per hour - having to go to the Touch and restart the server. I can't figure out why, and when I restart, everything is fine for a while. Seems to happen a lot when I switch radio channels, but can also happen with music, or at just about any time. FYI I control the system with iPeng and SqueezePad. The good chap on the Logitech boards thought it might simply be that there's too many files on the USB & it overwhelms the Touch server - is this likely..? I haven't tested stability with a smaller memory unit yet, and I don't have a PC I can always keep running as a server. Any help appreciated - it's such a great system when it works! thanks -- daytripper ------------------------------------------------------------------------ daytripper's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41800 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=83568 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
