Well, I've continued to work on this project without much luck. The same song I play through the Touch which has the "ticking" sounds, plays perfectly when I output it from my netbook through my HRT Streamer II+.
I was looking at Squeezeplay but it appears not to be bit perfect. And Squeezeslave, not having a GUI, doesn't seem to be that easy to use. So, I'm hoping I can get some help on how to address my issue of making the Touch work outputting through the USB port without the added noise. Thanks in advance to anyone who tries to help me out.
