What voltage does the receiver use? I dodn't remember if its 9 or 12. In either case you will need a different transformer, voltage for the regulator and maybe some different cap values. I might use a different Hammond choke too, since I think the receiver uses less current. So it would pretty much be a different design (same schematic but different parts values) I'd need the voltage and current draw to design such a version.
