The need to change the default settings, some of the other alternatives are ok. You don't have to suffer it unless you want to, but as they say first impressions... If the first thing you see when starting a product is this ? For a while I even changed the background images for the default web ui :) to non hideous colors . I just don't have the tenacity to reapply it after every upgrade.
