I would like to use external a big USB hard disk as a backup for my other files - documents, pictures... I'd like to use ext3 file system. I don't like the idea that after powering up there is always 'quick' scan for new files. I suppose, that when there are many no-music files, it will scan all of them. Is there any possibility how to disable scanning 'non-music' files? Perhaps put them to 'hidden' folder with '.' prefix? Thank you for you help.
