I am new to this forum but have had a good look for a solution to my
problem without success so any help much appreciated.

I have recently purchased a SB Touch to replace my SB Classic. The SB
Classic was happily receiving streamed music over the ethernet LAN from
the latest version (7.5.2)of SBS running on Linux on my NAS (QNAP TS
209). My Thomson Gateway router provided by O2 handled DHCP etc.

The current situation is

(a) SBS can 'see' the SB Touch as it appears as a player on the control
screen (accessed via web browser on PC over LAN)and I can update various
player settings. It cannot, though, activate streaming to the SB Touch.

(b) SB Touch can access mysqueezbox.com and stream internet radio.
Although it is recognised by SBS (see above)it cannot find the music
library on the NAS. When I try to enter the SBS IP details
(http://192.168.1.75:9001/) as a Remote Library it fails to find SBS,
possibly because there is no way of including the port number i.e. only
sends 192.168.1.75

The IP address 192.168.1.75 is that of the NAS itself which demands a
username and password to access it.

All thoughts welcomed.
