A better way to use different interfaces is by adding their names to the end of the URL (for example /nokia770), that way you don't need to change any settings. If you have /handheld in the URL, you won't be able to get to any other skin, that is for sure. When you find one you like, you bookmark that URL on your device for quick access.
There's no risk in experimenting with the different skins, just go ahead bravely :) If it doesn't work, just go back or enter the URL of a skin you know does. You can also try the Tablet skin (activate that under 3rd party plugins), then go to /tablet on your BB.
