Thx for the feedback. I need to look it up. It's gonna be hard to tell though. I can't control what files e.g. get overwritten during an upgrade. That might leaves the system in an inconsistent status. The buffer settings mod (and jiveII) as a matter of fact is the most sensitive mod of all in the context of upgrades. Making sure that any upgrade of the system stays consistent is for sure one of the most challenging and time consuming tasks. A save bet should always be to reinitialize (factory reload) of the Touch and to do a clean installation of the toolbox after an upgrade. (The 2nd time running the installation will take you less then 10 minutes ;) ) To avoid continuous re-installations you should run stable versions, avoid installing automatically nightly builds and/or you disable under server settings/advanced/Software Updates/Don't check for software updates. This way you'd be able to avoid surprises. Let me know how it goes. -- soundcheck 'soundcheck's audio@vise - Squeezebox Touch Toolbox 2.0' (http://soundcheck-audio.blogspot.com/2011/01/soundchecks-squeezebox-touch-toolbox-20.html) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ soundcheck's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=34383 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=84061 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
