I completely agree with Phil. Not only that but I bought a Touch to replace a Receiver, both using the digital outputs, and the Touch's digital output (into my Headroom Desktop amp with a Max DAC module) is noticeably cleaner than the Receiver - better, crisper high end, clearer mid-range and way better bass with less boominess and muddiness. Throw in the ability to play up to 96kHz files and the Touch is a very worthwhile upgrade. Note: I run SBS on a separate, dedicated computer (Window 7 Home Premium) with two Drobo external hard drives. Works great, even with my rather large music library. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 (oops) -> Touch 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=84906 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
