Not done it myself, I went the drilling holes and climbing ladders route but others have reported that it's just as good as standard ethernet. Some will disagree of course as is the nature of anything audio. One thing is for sure, it's a hell of a lot more reliable than wireless. Best to have a look around the forum and research it a bit more before you finally decide.
