Hello there i am yet another new touch owner before i ran my music on a Duet, but wanted to get away from having my pc running all the time neither am I interested in buying a Nas.. so, enter the Touch  I use the built-in TinySB, with a 32gb USB stick, with appx. 4000 tracks on it runs fine, not much lag.. I keep the stick updated, by syncing my PC over the network, using SyncBack works fine. I use MediaMonkey to organize my music, on my PC. @jean2 read your guide, thank you for your great work I have a few questions though
Album Art works on some albums, on some it does not. A common trait on the ones that work, is that resolution is horrible, VERY low res. Is it because I have embedded art on my files, and the Touch then takes this very small .jpg to display? You stated you do not use embedded files, only a cover.jpg or folder.jpg does this really work??? When I look in my Music file on my pc, I see the mp3 files + 1 cover.jpg file nothing else. When I look in the music file on the stick, after transf. the music to it, there is several extra files albumartsmall.jpg etc, and some thump files whats going on? Scan the wipe and rescan in the server menu where is this located, cannot seem to find it..? HOW do you log into the Touch database? and how exactly do you nuke the database?
