+1 for the touch. I have both and do find that the touch is less prone to technical foibles. The controller on the duet is nice however as you will read in a few posts the screen can dim over time and mine is now only readable in very low light conditions. The use of an iPad or iPhone with iPeng is a much nicer way to control either device ( esp iPad) As mentioned The touch does offer 24/96 playback for any high res files you have I would also pick the touch over the duet if I had to chose between the two.
