Ah - I see you have now told us you have a wireless router!. OK, so your XP machines appear to be setup correctly as they have unique IP addresses. Your win7 machine is a mess! It's IP address (169...) is NOT on your network! This has nothing to do with it running win7. How is the Sony Vaio connected to the router? wi-fi or ethernet?
