do you run the SqueezeboxServer on the NAS? I recall that if you run SbS on a non windows machine, it doesn't automatically have the stuff it needs to play WMA files (windows machines automatically have the needed programs). There are ways to fix this (I recall you need mplayer). Search the forum for "WMA mplayer".
