Mentioned in another thread but kinda similar: Since I introduced an SB Touch (and router) into my system, I occasionally hear some kind of static out of my speakers; not tube crackle & pop - different sound. I also have tube gear. It's happened with Touch connected via wifi and Ethernet. But my memory tells me that it happens when there is no music playing. I had hoped going to Ethernet and turning off wlan would solve it (not really an educated guess, just a shot), but it has still happened. My father, a stumped computer/IT pro, guesses that perhaps my Dlink 601 router is introducing noise into the system.
