On the Insignia Infocast you could control the display time for each
applet, between 15 sec. to Forever.

Here's a procedure to stream audio from the Squeezecenter to the
Insignia Infocast coming from the Insignia Media Display forum.

And now for a dirty hack that allows for SqueezeCenter music on the 8"
Infocast.

I - Enable SSH

1 - On the screen with color tabs down the left side and 6 B&W icons
up top, hit the "Insignia" icon in the upper left.

2 - Hit the small "pi" icon in the upper right near the close
button

3 - Tap the "SSH" button, after which you should see a grey Chumby
squid appear, wink, and disappear

II - Log in to the device via SSH

1 - Determine the device's IP address from the wireless
configuration wizard

2 - Using your favorite SSH client (PuTTY for me on Windows) log in
to the device's IP address using standard SSH port 22

3 - Use "root" for the username. You should not be prompted for a
password

III - Play your SqueezeCenter's streaming mp3 file

1 - At the prompt type "btplay
http://ip.of.your.server:9000/stream.mp3"; where "ip.of.your.server" is
replaced by the IP address of your SqueezeCenter server.

That *should* be it! Check out the following links that I found for
more information. With the fact that this unit is even more open than
the Sony Dash, and better equipped than the regular Chumby's, I have a
new found love for this thing! It's quite a deal!
