Hi, Looking for a little advice. I installed the Spotify app this afternoon to try and get a bit of use out of my Spotify Premium subscription. I've met with a number of problems after months of trouble free use.
First the version of squeezebox server bundled with the latest Linkstation firmware is 7.5.2 (possibly 7.5.1 but certainly not the latest version that is compatable with Spotify), which is older than the version of squeezebox server on my PCs (7.5.3). Before Spotify the Linkstation SB server has been identical in use to a server on a PC. Anyway the result is that my SB Touch keeps wanting to change its software version (and once it's decided that it needs to update there is no disabusing it of the idea). Is there a way of stopping the SB Touch from seeing the Linkstation SB server for the minute? Seems no way to disable this in the Linkstation or even remove it's version of 7.5.2. The other issue is that Spotify will not play on the Touch for more than 5 seconds before re-buffering for 10 to 15 seconds. The Touch is etherneted. No problem with 24bit/96kHz files, so it is not a connection issue. My SB Radio (wireless connection) is fine, as is playing on my iPod Tough and Android phone. Could this be connected with the Linkstation issue? Any help much appreciated! -- Steve W ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Steve W's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40470 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86239 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
