I'm getting some noise being transmitted from my Touch into a headphone amp/dac I have it connected to. Basically I hear a faint clicking sound in the amp/dac. It took me awhile to diagnose and I have tried 3 different Touches connected to the amp/dac and replaced the original coax cable with one that has more shielding. Replacing the cable helped minimize the frequency of the clicks but they still occur sometimes. I have never heard a click if I remove the Touch. So, I've read conflicting information about whether a linear power supply provides any benefit to the Touch. Can anyone confirm that adding one would reduce the switching and noise associated. Also, any recommendations and brand, etc. Thanks.
