Just out of curiosity, have you checked your router settings? Routers typically contain their own firewall so it might be worth checking those settings.
And, I assume DHCP is assigning IP addresses in the same range to everyone? My system has a mix of static and dynamic addresses. When I switched routers recently I had to manually change the statics from 192.168.2.X to 192.168.1.X. And I believe the port that Squeezeboxserver needs to have open is 3483, both TCP and UDP.
