Hardware/Software:

SB Touch wireless connected to QNAP TS-239 II Turbo NAS which is
hardwired to Netgear router, iPhone 4 with iPeng

Hi,

I'm not the most technical person in the world, but I have been
enjoying the above for the last couple of months or so. However, in
that time I have experienced 1 power cut and yesterday removed the
power from the SB Touch to re-start it (clock synching issues).

On both occasions, it has caused a complete drama with the SB Touch
being recognised on the network upon restart. So much so that since
yesterday I have been at a loss as to how to remedy the problem. That
Logitech's own customer support closes at 6pm is an absolute shocker
and wholly unacceptable.

My NAS is on a fixed, static IP address and I have disabled DHCP.
Squeezebox Server is up and running and I can browse albums through the
web interface. However, when in settings and under the 'Player' tab it
says: "Your player was not found." Why? The SB Touch is connected to
the wireless network but for reasons I can't fathom it can't seem to
communicate with the NAS.

I really am at the end of my tether, this setup works like a peach when
it is WORKING, but I refuse to accept that if/when the SB Touch is
disconnected from the mains I can't simply get it to work as before in
a matter of moments upon restart. Have I done something wrong, am I
missing something? If the system works perfectly, why can't it simply
re-synch itself when the SB Touch is disconnected from the mains and
restarted?

I have tried restarting the NAS and my router, but to no avail

Sorry to be so verbose, and thanks in advance for any help or advice
that can given.

Kind regards,
