I don't use either app (Android or Commander) but my guess is you simply do not have everything setup correctly yet. I think both apps can work fine using SBS server. I'd start by verifying your MySB credentials are correct in SBS > Settings > MySqueezeBox.com > login ID, is your login info correct? Any "invalid login" message?
