I'm usually accessing about 2500 tracks on a Windows XP box using the 7.5.3 SB Server. IIRC, I had the same issue when I tested using tracks on an SD card with the Tiny server.
I've noticed this behavior in the last several weekd, possibly starting after the last upgrade of SBS on the computer. Which, BTW, had problems completing a rescan (which may be due to a conflict with Microsoft Security Essentials.
