Thanks for the reply. I agree that there is probably more circuitry in the headphone signal path. I may do some testing to see if there is a noticeable effect on sound quality. Or I might just perform some surgery on an RCA cable to get the length I want.

Do I detect a bit of disdain for the Wave Radio? :) If so I understand, but I will say that when I tried one of my Booms in it's place the low end was noticeably missing.
