Clearly not... I was planning to buy an additional Radio or Boom2 for bedside alarm, but that may not happen... Note that there is another failure mode. Since the update to 7.5.4 a few weeks ago, my Touch did not pick up the time at boot and decided to not show the time at all. Off screen is all black and screensaver does not kick in.
