Loss of fidelity going from 24/192 to 24/96!?!? In order for that to actually be the case one would need at least three things: 1) A complete state of the art two channel playback system from the external DAC capable of handling 24/192 to the mega-buck speakers capable of resolving even the smallest audio detail to the mega-buck USB or digital audio cable which will carry the 24/192 audio signal from one's computer to the external DAC. 2) A certified pair of golden ears (certification available only from the great and powerful HP). 3) Absolutely firm belief in the one's ability to fool oneself into hearing differences where none exist. -- ralphpnj Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels -> Snatch -> The Transporter -> Transporter 2 (oops) -> Touch 'Last.fm' (http://www.last.fm/user/jazzfann/) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ralphpnj's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10827 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87752 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
