Loss of fidelity going from 24/192 to 24/96!?!? In order for that to
actually be the case one would need at least three things:

1) A complete state of the art two channel playback system from the
external DAC capable of handling 24/192 to the mega-buck speakers
capable of resolving even the smallest audio detail to the mega-buck
USB or digital audio cable which will carry the 24/192 audio signal
from one's computer to the external DAC.

2) A certified pair of golden ears (certification available only from
the great and powerful HP).

3) Absolutely firm belief in the one's ability to fool oneself into
hearing differences where none exist.
