as a player it fine as is for now ( as a standalone complete solution
not really ).

But the software SBS and SqueezePlay needs much more atention thats
really lagging behind, for example playlist creation is easilly beaten
by 10 year old winamp etc.

But given that logitech is hardware driven and sees the software as an
necessary evil to power the product...

so I to wish that they develop more sp and sbs driven products that
would benefit all old products too.

But imho Touch does not need to be replaced, reciever boom and
transporter needs sucessors ?
But i speculate that a transporter type player is to niche nowdays.

In my user case, playing mostly local files to a processor/dac all
improvements in my experience is served by better software for example
iPeng and SqueezePad have done much more for me than shifting from an
SB3 to a Touch as I only uses these thing as an spdif interface.

However the moden players will accept more formats natively wich is
good and is more future proof re streaming services, I migth actually
get thet spotify subscription...
