as a player it fine as is for now ( as a standalone complete solution not really ).
But the software SBS and SqueezePlay needs much more atention thats really lagging behind, for example playlist creation is easilly beaten by 10 year old winamp etc. But given that logitech is hardware driven and sees the software as an necessary evil to power the product... so I to wish that they develop more sp and sbs driven products that would benefit all old products too. But imho Touch does not need to be replaced, reciever boom and transporter needs sucessors ? But i speculate that a transporter type player is to niche nowdays. In my user case, playing mostly local files to a processor/dac all improvements in my experience is served by better software for example iPeng and SqueezePad have done much more for me than shifting from an SB3 to a Touch as I only uses these thing as an spdif interface. However the moden players will accept more formats natively wich is good and is more future proof re streaming services, I migth actually get thet spotify subscription... -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub.
