Thank you! I couldn't see the incorrect spelling in MP3tag and the Artist name was correct, but I checked the mapping and added a Vorbis comment to change Album Artist to Artist. When I updated the Artist name showed both variations, so I was able to edit. It now shows on the Touch correctly.
Ref: Genres, I didn't realise that only the ones I'd tagged would show up. I haven't finished sorting through them yet so there's a bunch that have defaulted to Acapella. Now realised I could also add my own, so I've now got a genre called Uneasy Listening!.
