My antivirus software is Avast free version. It just upgraded from ver 5
to 6 and it blocked my sb touch from accessing the server running on my
computer.

After some cursing, I found the setting in Avast that fixed the issue.

In your touch, go to settings, advanced, diagnostics and write down the
two TCP ports used by the touch to access your squeezebox server. Mine
were 3483 and 9000.

Open avast ver 6, go to settings, troubleshooting, open tab "redirect
settings". In the HTTP ports box, you will see some other port numbers
in there. Add your two ports obtained from your touch. Click ok.
Restart you computer.

You should be good to go.

I hope this helps someone. It sure irked me that my antivirus program
interrupted what had been flawless operation between the my touch and
the server.
